Upcycle your own unique tote bag and learn to sew in one week! We’ll begin by exploring creative ideas and inspirations, drawing out designs for a bag, and having fun collecting and drawing inspiration from found materials. Next we will work on creating patterns and learning about sewing basics and safety tips. For the remainder of camp we will be working on our upcycle designs and be ready to show them off on the last day!
Requirements: No sewing experience necessary. Please bring a sketch pad, snack, lunch, and water. Materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own upcyclable fabrics as well!
Dates: Monday to Friday, 7/23 – 7/27
