We had so much fun hosting Green Eileen‘s first ever West Coast popup shop at Ragfinery over the past weekend! The shoppers were eagerly lined up down the street before opening at noon that day, ready to score some great deals on beautifully made Eileen Fisher fashions.
Green Eileen is an initiative of the Eileen Fisher Community Foundation, a non-profit organization which supports systematic changes that positively impact women and girls around the world. Green Eileen is dedicated to the principles of environmental sustainability and innovation for the collective good. By reselling gently worn Eileen Fisher clothing, they are supporting a product life cycle that is good for the earth and the people who inhabit it.
The Bellingham ladies happily welcomed this infusion of designer womenswear to our little neck of the woods. An hour into the event, the racks started looking pretty bare!
The Make and Take workshop station was also a big hit. So many beautiful scarves were made out of unsellable clothing.
Customers are already requesting that we do it again! Stay tuned, folks. You never know.
