Participant Materials and Requirements: Please bring a cashmere, merino wool, or lambswool sweater to be upcycled, and thread that matches the sweater. Sweaters are available for purchase at Ragfinery. Bring a color image of a flower or other simple design to use as a pattern for your felted appliqué. No previous needle felting experience required. Basic sewing skills required. Sewing machines provided.

About the Instructor: Natalia Robinson is obsessed with all things naturally made by hand. She lived in New Zealand and Guatemala studying felting, weaving, natural dyeing, spinning, and sewing.
