From basic pre-sewn shapes, learn traditional toymaking techniques to finish, personalize and costume your winter mouse in upcycled fun. Think ornaments, stocking stuffers, Hanukkah gifts, holiday tablescapes. Age 16+
Impact: A creative use for very small fabric scraps and bits of notions that are diverted from the waste stream. Homemade toys can reduce demand for new consumer goods.
Participant and Materials Requirements: Please bring sharp fabric scissors. Participants will be doing hand sewing and should have some basic level of comfort following along with the pattern and the instructor. Fabric, trim, needles, and thread are provided.
