Artist Support

Affordable access to materials

Learning a new skill shouldn’t be expensive. By diverting textile waste from the landfill we can provide affordable access to materials, support environmental and social health and cultivate a thriving marketplace to sell used and upcycled textile products.

At Ragfinery we offer an ever changing supply of textile art supplies, materials and tools at a fraction of the price. If you are part of non-profit organization, school or community building project in need of supplies reach out to us at hello@ragfinery.com

“As an environmentalist and a maker/ sewist, Ragfinery is the perfect marriage of my passions!

Everything in the store is donated and secondhand. With Gaudy by Nature, I’ve committed to working with second-hand materials. Ragfinery makes it easy for me to source used and incredibly unique materials for my upcycled sewing business.

Oh, and the shop is so affordable and accessible, which I love!

“Ragfinery is really supportive of local artists doing their fiber art, and I am one of them, so I am very thankful.”

Consign with us

Creative textile upcyclers: We know you’re out there and we know you’ve got some amazing creations to share with the world. Now is your chance to do just that!

Ragfinery is looking for textile artists who create with postconsumer materials to sell items on consignment in our retail gallery space. This is part of our ongoing mission to promote repurposing of unwanted fabric.

All submissions will be juried and pieces will be selected for display based on their appeal to Ragfinery’s customer market. Goods to be displayed and sold must also contain a minimum of 75% postconsumer textiles.

Click below to email our program manager with the following info:

  1. Name and about yourself

  2. Photos of your work

  3. Why do you want to consign with Ragfinery

At this moment we are only working with artists local to Bellingham.
