Ragfinery is dedicated to educating our community about the issues of textile waste and how we can each get involved through free mending events, workshops, and instructional materials.

“Rue helped me repair a hole in a quilt. I sew a little but was unsure how to make an invisible repair. She took the time to teach me to darn the hole basically creating new cloth. She was knowledgeable, patient and so very pleasant to work with. I love Ragfinery’s mission of teaching about the fabric arts and recycling. And my quilt looks great!”
