Community Mending
Ragfinery is dedicated to educating our community about the issues of textile waste and how we can each get involved through free mending events, workshops, and instructional materials.
Thanks to the Whatcom County Waste Reduction Pilot Program, and our amazing crew of volunteers, we’ve had the funding to continue holding mending events in this post-fire year. Hosted in residential community housing spaces around town (i.e. Lydia Place, Opportunity Council), and in public community spaces including the Bellingham Public Library SkillShare Space and the Bellingham Farmers Market.
